Soundproof Window Case Study: Jeremy in West London

“I honestly didn’t think it was going to make as much difference as it did.”

Jeremy’s story will be of interest if you’re wondering how to stop noise pollution in a city centre home. He decided to invest in our soundproof windows having moved into a new property in West London and under-estimated the amount of noise in his area.

Having discounted secondary glazing as ugly and fiddly, he asked us to design and install bespoke noise-reducing windows in keeping with his home’s style. Is he happy with the result? The good news is you don’t need to take our word for it as he agreed to be interviewed.

About Jeremy’s Home

Jeremy is rightly proud of his period Kentish Town property. Kentish Town, however, is a lively part of North West London famed for its culture from galleries and music venues to pubs, bars and clubs. The downside? On moving in, Jeremy realised it was noisier than Jeremy expected. You will see in the video nearby construction work didn’t help either. Something had to be done.

He says “When we moved in, we hadn’t really quite noticed how much noise there was around. So, pretty quickly we wanted to make changes and noise reduction windows really seem like the right way to go.”
