Soundproof Windows in the Cotswolds

Made for Cotswold homes

The region's stone buildings and traditional streets call for a thoughtful approach to replacement windows. Frame proportions, glazing bars and finishes all contribute to the whole. We look at those details with you, then shape a proposal around the building rather than asking you to accept a standard design.

Whether your property needs a sash or a casement, the aim is a window that belongs in its setting and works better for the way you live today.

Understand the noise beyond the view

A rural address does not always mean a quiet home. Passing vehicles, nearby railway lines or activity in a town centre may interrupt rooms that should feel restful. The first step is to understand where that sound comes from and how it enters.

Our acoustic assessment informs the glass, frame and installation approach, so that the solution responds to your particular home and the sounds around it.

Character and everyday comfort

Bespoke timber windows give us scope to consider appearance alongside acoustic performance. We also discuss draughts, warmth, opening arrangements and the way each room is used. Where a property is listed or lies within a conservation area, any relevant consent requirements need to form part of the conversation before work begins.

Begin with your home

Tell us what you love about your property and what you would like to change. A quiet bedroom, a calmer living room or a carefully planned renovation can each lead to a different specification. We will explain the options clearly and help you decide on the next step.
